Andaman (GREAT ISLAND OF INDIA)

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a union territory of India, located at the southeastern edge of the Bay of Bengal. These islands are part of a submerged mountain range and are geographically significant, stretching approximately 620 miles (1,000 km) between Myanmar and Sumatra in Indonesia. They mark the boundary between the Bay of Bengal to the west and the Andaman Sea to the east. The capital of the territory is Port Blair, located on South Andaman Island.

Historically, the Andaman Islands were of interest due to their strategic location on ancient trade routes between India and Myanmar. The English East India Company visited the islands in 1789, and the British administratively linked the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1872. The territory became part of the Republic of India in 1956.

The islands are home to indigenous communities that have maintained minimal contact with the outside world. The region gained international attention in 2004 when it was severely impacted by a devastating tsunami triggered by a major earthquake in the Indian Ocean.

Schedule

Day 1 – Arrival at Port Blair| Cellular Jail Visit | Carbyn’s Cove Beach| Light & Sound Show, Welcome to Andaman!
After arriving at Port Blair airport, Our travel Executive will be waiting outside the airport exit gate with a Pla-Card having your name for a hassle free meet transfer to your hotel with our representative. After check-in at the hotel, relax for a little bit. Later Visit to the cellular Jail, The Historic place where you can witness the heroic saga of Indian freedom fighters. Later we proceed to Corbyn’s Cove. Coastal drive to this beach is awesome; a stretch of around 4 Km with an open sea towards your left is a sight to experience. Later proceed to attend the enthralling Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail – where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. A light and sound show gets conducted inside the Cellular Jail explaining the rich history and struggles of the freedom fighters in the jail.

Light and Sound Show Timings – •Duration – 40 Mins
•Slot 1 – 5.50 pm – 6.40 pm (Hindi)
•Slot 2 – 6.50 pm – 7.40 pm (English,Hindi)
•Slot 3 – 7.50 pm – 8.40 pm (Hindi)
After the show, return back to the hotel and rest.

Day 2 – Port Blair to Havelock Island – Radhanagar Beach
After a hearty breakfast and proceed to Havelock. Take a Cruise ride to reach
the island, Check in at the hotel and rest.
In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Radhanagar Beach, Asia’s 7th most
beautiful beach. Enjoy the calm ambiance, lay on the white sands, and dive
deep into the blue waters of the sea. Spend some time here with your family
and have a lot of fun get back to your Resort. Overnight Stay at Havelock
Island.

Day 3 – Havelock – Day Trip to Elephant Beach
After a hearty breakfast, Visit to the Coral lsland the Elephant Beach at Have-
lock. the best place for snorkeling and some water activities to have fun, return
to your hotel and unwind for the night.( Complimentary Snorkeling @ Elephant
Beach )
Note: Snorkeling at the Elephant beach is subject to weather conditions.

Day 4 – Havelock to Neil Island ( 03 Points )
Have a delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Then, relocate to the
jetty to board the ferry to Neil Island. After arrival, check in to the hotel and rest.
In the evening, proceed for a sightseeing tour and visit Laxmanpur Beach,
Bharatpur Beach and Natural Bridge.

Day 5 – Neil Island to Port Blair ( Chidiyatapu Sunset Point )
Have a delicious breakfast and check out. Then, transfer to the jetty to board
the ferry to Port Blair (the time of the ferry varies upon availability). Once you
reach, check in to your hotel, Later Visit to Chidiyatapu beach a sunset point
30kms away from the main city, Offers the best sunset view in Port Blair. Over-
night Stay at Port Blair.

Day 6 – Departure from Port Blair
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Then, get transferred to the airport.
Finally, board your flight back home with lovely memories to cherish
